Member management covers inviting users to your organization, assigning roles, and maintaining appropriate access.

Viewing Members

Navigate to Organization

Open your organization.

Open Members

Go to Settings > Members.

View List

See all organization members.

Member Information

Each member entry shows:

Inviting Members

Click Invite

Click “Invite Member” button.

Enter Email

Provide the user’s email address.

Select Role

Choose Administrator or Member.

Send

Send the invitation.

Invitation Status

StatusMeaning
PendingInvitation sent, not yet accepted
ActiveUser has joined
ExpiredInvitation expired

Resending Invitations

For pending invitations:

Find Invitation

Locate the pending invitation.

Resend

Click resend to send a new invitation email.

Changing Roles

Find Member

Locate the member in the list.

Edit Role

Click to edit their role.

Select New Role

Choose the new role.

Save

Save the change.

Role Options

MemberStudy access based on study roles
Changing roles takes effect immediately. Users see their new permissions on next page load.

Removing Members

Find Member

Locate the member to remove.

Remove

Click remove and confirm.
Removing a member revokes access to all organization resources, including all studies. This action cannot be undone.

Before Removing

Consider:
  • Transfer any resources owned by the user
  • Update study roles if needed
  • Document the reason for removal

Access Reviews

Conduct periodic access reviews:

Export Members

Download current member list.

Review Each

Verify each member should still have access.

Update

Remove or modify access as needed.

Document

Record the review completion.

Best Practices

Assign the minimum role needed.
Review membership periodically.
Remove access quickly when no longer needed.
