What is the Public Info Hub?

The Public Info Hub is a customizable public page that displays:
  • Study title and description
  • Objectives and purpose
  • Eligibility information
  • Participating sites
  • Contact information

Enabling the Public Hub

Navigate to Settings

Go to Study Settings > Public Features.

Enable Public Hub

Toggle “Public Information Hub” to enabled.

Configure Content

Add and customize the public-facing content.

Publish

Review and publish your public page.

Configuring Public Content

Study Information Page

The main study page includes:

Participant Information Page

Additional page focused on participant perspective:
  • Study procedures
  • Time commitment
  • Potential risks and benefits
  • Compensation (if applicable)
Write public content in plain language. Avoid medical jargon that may confuse potential participants.

Site Listings

When enabled, the Public Hub can display:
  • Names and locations of participating sites
  • Site contact information
  • Recruitment status per site
Sites can control their visibility on the public page. Some sites may choose not to be listed publicly.

Custom Documents

Upload documents to share publicly:
  • Lay summaries
  • Infographics
  • Recruitment flyers
  • Consent form previews
Supported formats include PDF and common document types.

Participant Registration Portal

If enabled, the Public Hub can include a registration form:
  1. Potential participants provide contact information
  2. Information is captured as a candidate record
  3. Site team reviews and contacts qualified candidates
  4. Registration converts to enrollment when appropriate
Enable participant registration in Study Settings > Public Features > Participant Registration Portal. Configure which information to collect and any screening questions.

Access and URLs

The Public Hub is accessible via a unique URL:
  • URL format is based on your study identifier
  • Share the URL in recruitment materials
  • QR codes can link directly to the page

Customization

Customize the appearance of your Public Hub:
  • Study logo
  • Color scheme (inherits from organization branding)
  • Section ordering
  • Content visibility

Analytics

Track Public Hub engagement:
  • Page views
  • Registration submissions
  • Site contact clicks

Best Practices

Update recruitment status and site listings as your study progresses.
Use 8th-grade reading level for public content to maximize accessibility.
Ensure public information matches your IRB-approved materials.
